Larry plays and teaches the piano, saxophone, bassoon, guitar, bass, drums and vocals. He studied music theory at the College of San Mateo, De Anza College, and San Francisco State University—and the depth of his song writing is informed by a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology. Larry was lucky enough to open up for Metallica on night two of their four-day residence at San Francisco’s historic Fillmore Auditorium in 2003 with the heavy blues project The Flaming Androids—and to perform a song at the show with Metallica’s lead guitarist Kirk Hammett. You may have also seen him in Bay Area bands Big Shrimp, Undermine and End the Suffering.
